Dalian polytechnic university University, formerly known as Dalian Institute of Light Industry, is a provincial-level key construction university in Liaoning Province under the "Excellence Plan" and "20 1 1 Plan", and the first batch of pilot universities for the reform of the national education and training plan for agricultural and forestry talents. Founded in 1958, the school is one of the earliest four light industry colleges in China. Originally belonging to the Ministry of Light Industry, it was placed under the management of Liaoning Province from 1998.

2. Dalian Jiaotong University

Dalian Jiaotong University is an institution of higher learning that focuses on engineering, with the coordinated development of management, science, literature, economy and art, and features the training of rail transit and compound software talents. It is the second batch of colleges and universities that China People's Ministry of Education has implemented the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan", China-China Jiaotong University Alliance member universities and government scholarships to recruit foreign students. It is also the only rail transit institution in Northeast China.

3. Dalian International Studies University

Dalian International Studies University, located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, is a provincial university in Liaoning Province. It is a multi-disciplinary foreign language university which focuses on foreign languages, and the disciplines of literature, management, economics, engineering, law and art support each other and develop in a coordinated way. Selected as a first-class university in Liaoning Province.

4. Dalian University

Dalian University (DLU) was selected as an excellent teacher training program. History can be traced back to Dalian University, which was founded in April 1949. Kanto Grammar School, established in March,1948; Luda Health School was established in 10, 1950. 1987 10, Dalian University, Dalian Normal University and Dalian Health School merged to form a new Dalian University.

5. Dalian University for Nationalities

Dalian University for Nationalities is located in the center of Jinzhou District, Dalian, directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. It was jointly established by China People, Ministry of Education, State Ethnic Affairs Commission, China Academy of Sciences, Liaoning Provincial People's Government and Dalian Municipal People's Government. It is the only comprehensive national higher education institution in China, which is located in the northeast and coastal open areas and mainly focuses on engineering and applied disciplines. Dalian University of Technology supports Dalian University for Nationalities.
