Different responsibilities. The Youth League Committee of colleges and universities is an organization established by the Communist Youth League of China in colleges and universities. It is a Communist Youth League organization under the leadership of the school party committee. The main duties of the Communist Youth League in colleges and universities are responsible for the organization construction, member development, youth volunteer service and youth culture construction of the Communist Youth League in schools. The student union is an organization organized by students themselves, representing the interests of students. The main duties of the Student Union are to put forward suggestions and requirements to the school on behalf of students, safeguard students' rights and interests, and organize various student activities, such as cultural performances, sports competitions, academic lectures and community activities.
