By June 2023 10, Jie Chen will be 25 years old and about1.72m tall. She was born in Beihai, Guangxi, and later settled in Zhanjiang. She studied in Zhanjiang No.2 Middle School and Jinan University, majoring in international economy and trade. Chen Jie is now a member of Guangdong track and field team, and has participated in major sports events on behalf of Guangdong team for many times. On September 2018 12, the State Sports General Administration awarded Jie Chen the title of outstanding athlete.
On April 23rd, 2023, Jie Chen won the third place with 1 3m62 in the women's triple jump final of the 2023 National Track and Field Grand Prix. On June 29th, in the women's triple jump final of the 2023 National Athletics Championships, World Championships and Asian Games trials, Jie Chen won the runner-up with a score of13m 93.

Track and field training is sailing against the current. If you don't advance, you will retreat. Once relaxed, it is difficult to return to the state before injury. Therefore, even though Jie Chen was injured, she insisted on attending training on time. If she can't run and jump, she will practice other movements to improve the core strength of other muscle groups and help her recover faster and better.
