The School of Economics of Beijing Technology and Business University is one of the departments opened by Beijing Technology and Business University, which was established in June 1999. It is formed by the merger of the Department of Economics and Trade and the Department of Finance and Finance of Beijing University of Commerce and the Department of Quantitative Economics of the Department of Technical Economics of Beijing University of Commerce. There are 5 departments, 7 teaching and research sections and 8 undergraduate majors, which belong to the Department of Economy and Trade, Finance and Statistics. The college has been engaged in economic, financial and insurance research for a long time and won many national honors.
Achievements in running a school: In 2000, the college began to recruit in-service graduate students with equivalent academic qualifications in industrial economics. Since 2005, more than 70 in-service graduate students with the same academic qualifications have obtained master's degrees. The school sent more than 60 undergraduates to study in famous universities in Europe and America, such as Hertford College of Oxford University, Corker University of Ireland, Dublin University of Ireland, Griffith College of Ireland, Gothenburg University of Sweden, Youngstown University of the United States, Charleston University of the United States, etc., or to pursue their degrees in the form of "3+ 1", "3+2" and "2+2". 20 10 study abroad rate is 15.9%.
Beijing Technology and Business University, hereinafter referred to as Beijing Technology and Business University, was formed by the merger of Beijing Institute of Light Industry, Beijing Business School and Machinery Industry Management Cadre College in June. 1999. Beijing Business School is the first business school established in New China. Yao Yilin, Cheng and other national leaders have served as school leaders.
