Overview of Chongqing Medical University:

Founded in 1956, the school was established by Shanghai First Medical College (now Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University) and then moved to Chongqing. Its original name was Chongqing Medical College, and 1985 was renamed Chongqing Medical University. It is the first batch of units with the right to award doctoral and master's degrees approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the first batch of demonstration bases for studying in China approved by the Ministry of Education.

The school consists of Yuanjiagang Campus in Yuzhong District and Jinyun Campus in Chongqing University Town, with a total campus area of 2,650 mu, of which Jinyun Campus covers 2 100 mu. The campus environment is beautiful and picturesque.
