Zhejiang University, referred to as "Zhejiang University", is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. The school, formerly Qiushi College, was founded on 1897 and closed on 19 14. 1928 National Zhejiang University was newly established in the former site of Qiushi College. 1937 moved westward, running schools in Zunyi and Meitan, and 1946 moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn.
