Founded on July 3rd, 1898, the school is the first national university in modern China, and its establishment marks the beginning of modern national higher education in China. In other words, the first "Guo Zihao" university in China was the old name used by Peking University before May 19 12.

2. Wuhan university

The predecessor of Wuhan University was Ziqiang School, which was founded in 1893 by Zhang Zhidong, Governor of Huguang in the late Qing Dynasty. 3. Hebei Medical University.

Hebei Medical University, formerly known as Beiyang Medical College, was founded in Tianjin by Li Hongzhang, Governor of Zhili and Minister of Beiyang. 1894. It is the first government-run western medicine college in modern China. 19 13 Beiyang medical college was renamed zhili public medical college and began to recruit undergraduates.
