Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (hereinafter referred to as "Beijian University") is a university jointly established by Beijing and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It has been selected as the pilot university of "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education, the national construction industry skills training project, the national "Two Million Plan" and the first batch of national engineering practice education center construction units.

Departmental setup

As of March 20 17, the school has three schools: School of Architecture and Urban Planning, School of Civil and Traffic Engineering, School of Environment and Energy Engineering, School of Electrical and Information Engineering, School of Economics and Management Engineering, and School of Surveying and Mapping and Urban Spatial Information.

There are 10 colleges and 1 0 basic teaching units, including mechanical and electrical engineering and vehicle engineering college, grammar college, science college, Marxist college and sports teaching and research department, as well as continuing education college, international education college and innovation and entrepreneurship education college.
