I happen to be a flag-raiser in grade four and a member of the brigade.

I don't have a manuscript, but I can tell you how to say it:

Dear teachers and classmates: Good morning, everyone! I'm Liu Songyang from Class Four. Like all flag-raisers, I am extremely excited to receive this honor. I sincerely thank my teachers and classmates for their trust and encouragement. The topic of my speech today is "active speech and confident study". When I first entered Su Jie School, like many other students, I often couldn't concentrate on the class, let alone raise my hand to speak. Later, under the reminder of teachers and parents, I realized that "thinking closely follows teachers" is the key to improve class efficiency. So, I began to force my eyes to stare at the teacher, trying to listen to every question raised by the teacher and speak my mind boldly. Gradually, I found that whenever I answered well, my teachers and classmates would give me encouragement; And when my answer is not in place or even wrong, people will not laugh at me, but will help me correct and supplement it. After discovering this, I was even more unscrupulous when I raised my hand. Now, as soon as the teacher asks questions, I think quickly and raise my hand to answer them immediately after organizing the language in my mind. Because the more times I raise my hand to answer questions, the more chances I have of success. Now in class, I often have some unique and wonderful answers. Whenever I hear everyone's applause, I can feel my confidence doubled again. Because I am confident, I can devote myself to my study more actively. Such a virtuous circle, I feel the fun of learning. Of course, not every time I raise my hand, the teacher will ask me questions. When the teacher asked other students to answer, I assumed that the teacher called me, and then I answered with that classmate in my heart, waiting for the teacher's evaluation. I'm glad the answer is correct. When the answer is wrong, I also think: Why did I answer wrong? How can I express myself so that others can understand me better? Also, I usually love reading and thinking, and I never give up easily when I encounter problems. Over time, I have mastered a lot of extracurricular knowledge. These can help me answer questions accurately and express my thoughts and opinions confidently. Now I find more and more that actively answering questions and bravely expressing my opinions not only improve my oral expression ability, but also exercise my thinking ability and courage. Students, let's work together to be a child who loves thinking, talking and self-confidence! Thank you!
