Introduction of Hangzhou Dianzi University:

The School of Mechanical Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University has set up related majors since 1956 was founded, and 1980 was formally established, which is one of the oldest colleges in the school.

As of March, 20021year, the college has faculty members 1 18 and 94 full-time teachers. There are four undergraduate majors: mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, intelligent manufacturing engineering, vehicle engineering and marine engineering and technology. It has a doctoral and master's degree program in the first-class discipline of "Mechanical Engineering" and a postdoctoral workstation in the first-class discipline of "Mechanical Engineering".

There are more than a thousand full-time college students and nearly a hundred graduate students. At present, there are three departments of mechanical engineering, industrial design, environmental science and engineering, five undergraduate majors of mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, vehicle engineering, industrial design, environmental engineering and environmental science, and four master's programs of mechanical and electronic engineering, mechanical design and automation, mechanical design and theory, precision instruments and machinery in two disciplines, forming a training system for undergraduates and postgraduates with stable discipline direction and complete training system.

The college has five research institutes, including mechanical and electronic engineering, mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechanical design and vehicle engineering, industrial design and environmental science and engineering, and has a strong teaching and research team. The academic leaders of the College are four doctoral supervisors: Professor Chen Ying, Professor Zhao, Professor Zhang Yundian and Professor Xie.
