Higher Education 1998 Awarded Master's Degree. The basic task is to understand the basic theory of higher education from the historical development of education and the interaction between education and economy and society, and to explore the inherent law of the development of modern higher education. On the macro level, higher education research mainly studies the relationship between the state, government, society and institutions of higher learning, the macro-structure and operation mechanism of higher education, education investment and education finance, education legislation, education policy and decision-making. At the middle level, it mainly studies the management mechanism, development model, personnel training, discipline construction and education evaluation of colleges and universities. At the micro level, it mainly studies the teaching process, curriculum reform, students' psychological development and personality cultivation in university education. The research direction is as follows: 1. University curriculum and teaching: study the basic principles and laws of curriculum and teaching management in colleges and universities, the basic experience and latest achievements of curriculum and teaching reform at home and abroad, the basic technology of curriculum and teaching management in colleges and universities, and the trends and problems of curriculum and teaching reform in colleges and universities. 2. Adult higher education: With the goal of promoting lifelong education and building a learning society, adult education and continuing education have become the most active areas of contemporary education development. This direction focuses on the management of adult higher education, continuing education, theories and methods of lifelong learning, modern distance education technology, etc. 3. Research on higher education policy: study the formulation, implementation and evaluation methods of education policy with the thinking methods of sociology, economics and law; Analyze the factors that affect the formulation of educational policies and weigh the social and economic effects of the implementation of educational policies.
