CentralConservatoryofMusic, referred to as "Central Music", is located in the capital Beijing. It is an institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the only national key university and "2 1 1 engineering" construction institution among the national art institutions, and the first batch of "double-class" world-class discipline construction institutions in China.

3. Sichuan Conservatory of Music

Sichuan Conservatory of Music, called "Chuanyin" for short, is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate college with "music" as its main feature. It is one of the nine independent professional music colleges in China, with the right to award master's degrees, and the first batch of MFA professional degree awarding units approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee.

4. Wuhan Conservatory of Music

WuhanConservatoryOfMusic, located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is one of the nine independent conservatories in China, the only independent higher music institution in Central China, a master's degree awarding unit and the first batch of MFA professional degree education pilot units in China. ?

Wuhan Conservatory of Music, formerly known as Central South Conservatory of Music, was founded on 1953 by the Music Department of Central South College of Literature and Art, South China People's College of Literature and Art and Guangxi Academy of Arts. 1958, Central South Conservatory of Music and Wuhan Art Teachers College merged to form Hubei Art College; 1972- 1978, the name of the school is "Hubei Art Institute"; 1985, the school was renamed Wuhan Conservatory of Music.

5. Shanghai Conservatory of Music

ShanghaiConservatoryofMusic, referred to as "Shangyin" for short, is a full-time higher professional music (art) college sponsored by Shanghai Municipal People's Government and co-founded by China People, Ministry of Culture and Shanghai Municipal People's Government. It is one of the first batch of national "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction universities, and has been selected into the national high-level university graduate program, the national key discipline program and the China municipal government scholarship for overseas students.
