University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education under the National "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project". It is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, the economic, cultural and transportation center in the west, and is called "Land of Abundance". The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, formerly known as Chengdu Institute of Telecommunications Engineering, was formed by the merger of electronic and information disciplines of Jiaotong University (now Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xi Jiaotong University), Nanjing University of Science and Technology (now Southeast University) and South China University of Technology (now South China University of Technology) under the personal deployment of Premier Zhou Enlai in 1956. The school covers an area of more than 5,000 mu, including Qingshuihe Campus, Shahe Campus and Jiulidi Campus. Among them, Qingshuihe Campus covers an area of more than 4,000 mu with a total construction area of about 700,000 ㎡. The main departments of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China are School of Communication and Information Engineering, School of Electronic Engineering and School of Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics.
