How to take the exam when applying for studying in a Japanese university?
Many students choose to go to Japan for postgraduate study in order to improve their academic qualifications. University entrance in Japan is to complete the postgraduate examination. Let's take a look at how the college exams in Japan are completed.

First, the content of the monk exam

There is no unified postgraduate examination here in Japan, and the examination content of each school is different. But the inspection process can be roughly divided into three steps:

The first step is to submit materials, that is, make a wish. Some schools in Japan need students to get in touch with professors before exams. If students don't get the professor's consent, they may not be admitted even if their test scores are high. The second is the qualification examination. For students who have no academic time 16 or have no undergraduate education, they need to pass the examination before they can take the examination.

The second step is the written test. The content of written test is mainly the content of professional courses, liberal arts is generally a small paper, and science is a professional ability. But no matter what subjects you take, you should give priority to written tests. For science students, they have to get in touch with the professor before making a wish, so the interview part accounts for a small proportion in the assessment.

However, for liberal arts students, interviews and written examinations in private schools generally account for half of the assessment, while public colleges and universities are mostly written examinations, that is, as long as they can pass the written examination, there will be no problem in the next interview.

In the interview part, the professor will ask questions according to the students' research plan, such as the reason for choosing the research topic and what the enrollment plan is. These questions are mainly used to examine students' comprehensive ability. Generally, there are 2-3 examiners in the interview, and the professor may ask questions in English during the interview to evaluate the students' English level.

Because the written test results have a great influence on students' admission, and many schools only interview after the written test, that is to say, when the professor interviews, there are actually students' written test papers in their hands.

Second, the examination time

Generally speaking, the autumn entrance examination of Japanese universities is in July, August and September, and the spring entrance examination is in 65438+ 10 and February. Theoretically, the scores of these two exams can be used as admission scores. Of course, many schools only arrange exams once a year, so it is very important to plan your study plan according to the exam time. Many universities and colleges in Japan enroll students in spring, and of course some schools enroll students in autumn, but the number is relatively small.
