The City of London School was founded in 1442, the new school building was officially completed in 1873, and the school moved to London. The multi-functional teaching building of 1986 has also been completed, and many equipments are new. In order to cooperate with the diversified curriculum of the school, it is like a multimedia dirty center, a multi-functional room, a dance room, an art room, a music room and a science laboratory.

On the grass in front of the school building, there is a playground. Schools often use the playground to do some activities inside and outside the school and in some communities, hoping to connect the school with the community.
