I. Introduction to the College
The School of Chemical Engineering and Technology was formerly the Department of Chemical Engineering, and was re-established in 1984. There are chemical engineering teaching and research section, chemical machinery teaching and research section, polymer teaching and research section and basic chemistry teaching and research section 1995 the institute of chemical engineering was established with the development of various disciplines. 65438-0999, the College newly established the Department of Environmental Engineering, renamed the College of Environmental and Chemical Engineering. In 2004, the main body of the college merged with the College of Energy and Power Engineering. Second, the teaching staff.
The college has a strong faculty. Up to now, faculty 134 people. Among them, China Academy of Engineering 1 person, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund 1 person, 5 experts enjoying special allowance from the State Council, 8 national-level young talents, 3 provincial and ministerial-level high-level talents1person, and 22 top-notch young talents in the school. Since 20 12, the college has hired more than 40 well-known professors, scholars and enterprise experts at home and abroad as honorary professors, part-time professors and visiting professors in our college to offer various lecture courses for students.
Third, personnel training.
There are 396 graduate students, including 243 master students and 53 doctoral students/kloc-0. A total of 303 graduate students and 84 doctoral students have been trained. Undergraduate and graduate students have won more than 90 provincial and ministerial awards in the American Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students, the National robot contest and the National Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Competition for College Students, and won 2 provincial outstanding students, 8 school outstanding students, 4 academic stars and 5 pacesetters. There is a strong demand for graduates, mainly engaged in higher education, scientific research, technology development, engineering design and operation and maintenance, engineering supervision, senior administration and work in coal chemical industry, petrochemical industry, energy, environmental protection, medicine, electronics and finance.
