Where does China Youshi University come from?
China Youshi University has two campuses, namely Qingdao Campus and Dongying Campus of Youshi University in China.

China Youshi University (Beijing), hereinafter referred to as CUP, was founded in 1953, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and ranks among the first batch of "2 1 1 project" and the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction in China.

It has been selected into "985 Innovation Platform of Engineering Superiority Discipline", "11plan" and "Education and Training Plan for Excellent Engineers", and has a graduate school. The predecessor of the school is Beijing Petroleum Institute, the first petroleum institution of higher learning in New China. It was founded in 1953 on the basis of Tsinghua University Petroleum Department, and gathered some teachers from Tianjin University, Peking University and other universities.

1969, the school moved to Shengli Oilfield in Dongying, Shandong Province, and changed its name to "East China Petroleum Institute"; 1988 was renamed "Petroleum University", which consists of two parts: Petroleum University (Beijing) and Petroleum University (East China).
