2. Competition stage

The first stage: prologue

An affirmative debate (debate) (2 minutes and 30 seconds)

The other side debated (demonstrated) (2 minutes and 30 seconds)

(Note: When each player has 30 seconds left, the chairman reminds the debater that the time is up, and the chairman will hold a red card and declare the speech terminated. )

The second stage: attack and debate

Positive dichotomy raises the question of anti-dichotomy or anti-dichotomy.

Three positive arguments ask questions about two or three negative arguments.

The argument against is aimed at the argument for or three arguments.

The theory of opposites is aimed at the theory of positive two or positive three.

(Note: The stage of each round of defense is 1 minute and 30 seconds. Each question of the attacker shall not exceed 10 seconds, and more than three questions must be asked in each round. The defense cannot answer for more than 20 seconds at a time. When the time is up, the chairman will show a red card to announce the termination of the speech, and no more questions or answers are allowed. Repeated questions and evasive questions will be deducted appropriately)

Questioners can only ask and respondents can only answer.

The third stage: summary of attack and defense

Summary of active debate; (1 min 30 sec)

A summary of the opponent's offensive and defensive arguments. (1 min 30 sec)

(Note: In the offensive and defensive summary stage, when each side has 10 seconds left, the chairman reminds the debater that the time is up, and the chairman raises a red card to declare the speech terminated. )

The fourth stage: free debate

The pros and cons automatically take turns to speak. Each party is limited to 5 minutes, and both parties have a total of 10 minutes. The speaker's seat marks the beginning of the other speaker's speech at the end of the speech, and the other debater must speak immediately after it; If there is a gap, the cumulative timing will proceed as usual. There is no limit to the order in which the same debater speaks. If one party runs out of time, the other party can continue to speak or signal the chairman to give up speaking. Free debate advocates active confrontation, and we cannot avoid more than two confrontations on important issues, nor can we cling to the questions that the other party has clearly answered.

(Note: In the free debate stage, when each party has 30 seconds left, the Chairman will remind him; When the time came, the chairman showed a red card and announced the end of the speech. )

The fifth stage: conclusion

A conclusive statement of the four arguments against it; (4 minutes)

A summary statement of four arguments. (4 minutes)

(Note: It is necessary to summarize the overall situation of the debate in a targeted manner. When each player had 30 seconds left, the chairman reminded him that the time was up, and the chairman raised a red card to declare the speech terminated. )

Step 3 ask questions from the audience

The audience can ask questions to the pros and cons, and the players selected by both sides will answer them. This link is carried out after the official competition, which increases the appreciation of the competition and does not affect the result of the competition.

4. The teacher analyzed and commented on the competition.

5. Precautions: When looking up information, you should find arguments to support your point of view and examples to support your point of view, so that your words will be rich and specific. There should be examples of flesh and blood, not just the skeleton of the debate.

Don't forget to look for each other's arguments when looking up information, so as to know yourself and yourself. At the same time, we should also find examples of mutual support, so as to face each other's questions calmly and not panic and be at a loss.
