The finance major of Suzhou University is a provincial brand major in Jiangsu Province. The finance major has won the first prize in the national competition for many times.
Soochow University 1900 was formerly known as Soochow University. 1952 During the adjustment of national departments, Soochow University College of Arts and Sciences, Sunan College of Culture and Education, and Jiangnan University Department of Mathematics and Physics merged to form Sunan Normal College, which was renamed Jiangsu Normal College in the same year and founded in the former site of Soochow University. 1982 Jiangsu Normal University was changed to Suzhou University. Suzhou Sericulture College, Suzhou Silk Vocational and Technical College, Suzhou Medical College and Nanjing Railway Vocational and Technical College Suzhou Campus were merged into Suzhou University in 1995, 1997, 2000 and 20 12 respectively.
As of 20 15, Suzhou University has three campuses, namely Tianci Zhuang Campus, Dushu Lake Campus and Yangcheng Lake Campus, covering an area of 4,058 mu and a building area of/kloc-0.82 million square meters.
