The Sunshine Group of Guangdong University Basketball Super League was recently opened in He Shijie Gymnasium of Guangzhou University. Eight teams from Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, South China Agricultural University, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University and Guangzhou University participated in the competition.

In this year's China University Students' 3X3 Basketball League (Guangdong Division), Wanbian King Kong Basketball Team won the championship in Guangdong Division and will represent Guangdong Division in the national finals.
