School-running philosophy:
From April 2004 1, Japanese national universities began to turn to the corporate system of national universities. Corporatization makes it possible for universities to operate independently and flexibly, and at the same time, the evaluation and audit of independent management and achievements have become more stringent.
The school's ideas such as "new education and research system", "new university autonomy" and "open university" have attracted more and more public attention and played a leading role in university reform.
