The evaluation criteria for scholarships in South China University are the basic conditions that need to be met. The specific conditions are as follows:

1, adhere to the four cardinal principles, excellent moral quality, exemplary compliance with school rules, no punishment, and high prestige among students;

2. Respect teachers, unite with classmates, love labor, care for public property, be diligent and thrifty, help others, and dare to fight against bad phenomena;

3. Love the major, study hard, and achieve excellent results on the basis of completing basic credits;

4. All courses in the final exam (including exams and exam courses) passed the initial test;

5. Students above grade two must reach the passing level of CET-4;

6. Meet the qualified requirements of the national physical exercise standards (except those approved by physical education class for exemption);

7. Actively participate in social work, collective activities and public welfare labor, and participate in voluntary labor arranged by the school not less than 1 time each semester.
