Jinan Vocal Music Institute, located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a full-time college. The school is a demonstration vocational college in Shandong Province, and the first batch of high-quality vocational colleges in Shandong Province.
Formerly known as Jinan Institute of Education, the College was founded in 1952. In July 2004, Jinan Institute of Education, Jinan Machinery Workers College and Jinan Science and Technology Workers College merged into Jinan Vocational College.
By the end of 20 15 and 12, the school had two campuses, Chua's and Shungeng's, with an area of 13 14 mu and a building area of 224,800 square meters. There are 15 teaching institutions, 35 higher vocational enrollment majors, 4 teachers1person, and full-time students 10246 people.
The school has always adhered to the school-running direction of "educating people, serving development and promoting employment" and the school-running philosophy of "striving for Excellence", put forward the school-running guiding ideology of "educating people, serving development and promoting employment", established the school-running policy of "establishing schools with characteristics, strengthening schools with services and promoting schools through cooperation", and made it clear that "based on the provincial capital, leading the whole province and demonstrating the whole country" has been practiced.
In order to adapt to Jinan's regional economic development, the school has set up two secondary colleges, namely, Mechanical Manufacturing College, Electronic Engineering College, Computer College, Finance and Economics College, Business and Economics College, Tourism Management College, Cultural Communication and Art Management College, Preschool Education College, Sino-German Technical College, Entrepreneurship College and International Exchange College, and two teaching departments, namely, Ideological and Political Education and Research Department and Public Education Department. There are 35 majors closely related to Jinan's economic development, such as electromechanical integration technology, applied electronic technology, logistics management and tourism management, which form a professional cluster with equipment manufacturing, electronic information, finance, trade and tourism as the main categories.
