The Department of Information Engineering was founded in July, 20001,formerly known as the Computer Center of Tongling Nonferrous Workers College, and is one of the earliest departments in our college. The information engineering department has computer teaching and research section, computer application teaching and research section, computer network teaching and research section and computer software teaching and research section. The department has 12 professional training centers for locksmith, welding, mechanical disassembly, mechanical foundation, turning, numerical control programming, numerical control machining, mold processing, automobile electrical, automobile electronics, vehicle inspection, etc., and the total value of equipment and instruments is more than 9 million yuan, which can provide professional skills appraisal for welder technicians, senior lathe workers, locksmith technicians, automobile maintenance technicians and senior numerical control processors.
