It hasn't risen yet. According to official website of Xi Education Bureau, the first round of double-class construction list was released on July 3, 2023, and Xijian University was not selected. In the second round of double-class selection in 2023, Xijian University had a high voice, but the list was not announced and was not selected as of August 3, 2023. Xi University of Architecture and Technology, referred to as Jianda and Xijian for short, was founded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Education and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It is one of the "Old Eight Schools of Architecture" and a key university directly under the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry.
