The college has four staff party branches and four student party branches. In 2002, the General Party Branch of the College was awarded the Excellence Award of "Innovation of Grass-roots Party Building Work" by Zhejiang Education Commission. The Youth League Committee of the College has been awarded the honorary title of municipal advanced innovation unit for many times in succession, and the Young Volunteers Association of "Artist House" was awarded the honorary title of provincial advanced in 2008.

Through the efforts of all the teaching staff for many years, the teaching quality, teaching staff, talent quality, scientific research and creative level have been continuously improved, and the college has a good social reputation. The college has become a higher art college integrating pure art specialty and design application specialty.
