There is no clear division of responsibilities among the three campuses, which are independent and combined with each other. There are roughly the following ten colleges:
1. School of Design and Art: product design, environmental art design, visual communication design, animation, public art and digital media art.
2. Ceramic Academy of Fine Arts: ceramic art design, sculpture, art, painting, archaeology.
3. School of Materials Science and Engineering: inorganic nonmetallic material engineering, energy and power engineering, environmental engineering, material chemistry, material physics, new energy materials and devices, powder material science and engineering.
4. School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering: mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, material forming and control engineering, electronic science and technology, automation, electronic information engineering, mechanical and electronic engineering.
The school currently has 48 undergraduate majors, 3 first-class doctoral programs, 15 first-class master programs and 6 professional master programs, covering engineering, art, management, literature, science, history and other disciplines 10.
In terms of disciplines and specialties, the school pays equal attention to arts and crafts, art and industry, highlighting the advantages of "design art and ceramic engineering". It has formed three dominant and characteristic subject groups, namely, "art design and ceramic culture, ceramic material engineering and electromechanical, and ceramic economy and management", and has carefully trained high-level professionals in the whole industry chain from ceramic materials, design, manufacturing to management. The disciplines of "Design", "Materials Science and Engineering" and "Fine Arts" have entered the list of provincial-level disciplines, and "Design" has become the first leading discipline in the academic alliance of universities in Jiangxi Province.
In the fourth round of national discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, the two disciplines "Design" and "Fine Arts" ranked tenth in China, the first in "Material Science and Engineering", the second in "Material Science and Engineering" and the fourth in "Comprehensive Achievement" in Jiangxi Province.
