Xu Gang, male, was born in June 1959, from Leshan, Sichuan. 1June, 985, graduated from the former Southwest Normal University with a master's degree in physical geography. In June of the same year, he taught in the geography department of Southwest Normal University. In June 2002, he was promoted to professor. Now he is the tutor of master's degree in physical geography of Southwest University. Director of Chongqing Geographical Society and Director of Urban Geographical Committee. Long-term engaged in teaching and research of physical geography, geomorphology and disaster science. The courses taught are: undergraduate geomorphology, physical geography and natural resources; Postgraduate courses include earth system science, geomorphology, natural disasters and prevention.
