He graduated from the Agricultural University of Imperial University in July 1895 (the 28th year of Meiji). In the same year, he entered the Graduate School of Imperial University to study agricultural civil engineering and agricultural tools, and he studied at 1900. 1906 (Meiji 39) was promoted to assistant professor (called associate professor in China), 1907- 19 10 studied in Germany, France and the United States. After returning to China, he served as a professor in the Department of Agriculture of Imperial University of Tokyo at191(Meiji 44), and founded a lecture on "Agricultural Engineering" at Imperial University (equivalent to the "group" established under the university departments in the Republic of China and the early days of the People's Republic of China, such as the civil engineering group, which is slightly smaller than today's "specialty"), offering soil physics and soil engineering. Then, on the basis of the lecture, the specialized course of agricultural civil engineering was established, and later it became the agricultural engineering discipline of Imperial University of Tokyo (now the biological and environmental engineering discipline of Tokyo University). 1925 On May 2 1, Professor Ueno died of cerebral hemorrhage in the agricultural engineering lecture hall of Imperial University of Tokyo, at the age of 54, and was buried in Castle Peak Cemetery in Tokyo Port Area (the tomb of loyal dog Hachiko is also nearby). A temple tomb was built in Shizuyama Fazhuan Temple in Jiujuwon-machi, Tsukiji Prefecture, and a monument was built in Xiao Mu Island Shrine, which has long lived in Shimamachi, Xiao Mu.
