The predecessor of Beijing Normal University is Teachers College of Shi Jing University, which was founded in 1902. 1898, the Qing government formulated the Constitution of Shi Jing University, which stipulated that Shi Jing University could be divided into two categories: general education and specialized education, with a teacher camp and a compilation bureau. After the "1898 coup", the Boxer Rebellion, Eight-Nation Alliance's occupation of Beijing and other changes, Shi Jing University Hall was repeatedly destroyed and closed. 190 1 year, the Qing government rebuilt Shi Jing University Hall, which was divided into "official school" and "normal school".
