The basic moral requirements and value orientation of contemporary college students tend to be rational and mature, and their ideological and moral qualities generally meet the social requirements. But there are also many shortcomings and problems. For example, in the face of right and wrong, there is a huge contrast between China's traditional moral culture, moral cognition and moral behavior. The existence of these problems not only has the negative influence of market economy, but also has the reasons of school moral education. From the perspective of moral education in colleges and universities, we think we should carry out our work in the following aspects.

1. Under the guidance of Theory of Three Represents, constantly innovate and enrich the content of moral education. Theory of Three Represents is a theory that keeps pace with the times. Keeping pace with the times means that all the theories and work of the party should reflect the times, grasp the regularity and be creative. At present, the moral education innovation that urgently needs to be solved is still about the enrichment and innovation of market moral education content. First, starting from the market mechanism, guide college students to fully understand the moral needs of the market economy and establish a correct economic ethics. On the premise of respecting everyone's legitimate interests, moral education in colleges and universities should guide college students to correctly understand the dialectical relationship between personal interests and the interests of society and others in economic behavior, and establish a scientific concept of justice and benefit. The second is to strengthen legal education. Market economy is a legal economy, which objectively requires the establishment of a standardized legal system and the cultivation of legal awareness of the whole people. Legal consciousness itself is a rational spirit and thinking habit to solve problems. The legal education of college students should enrich the content of cultivating the spirit of the rule of law and pay attention to the cultivation of college students' legal thinking habits and behavior habits. The third is to further strengthen and enrich the education of ideas such as independence, freedom, equality, competition, efficiency and innovation that are compatible with the market economy and the progress of the times.

2. Strengthen the education of national spirit and guide college students to actively inherit the excellent moral tradition of the Chinese nation. Traditional morality is formed in the development of Chinese civilization for thousands of years, which is manifested in both explicit moral articles and implicit national psychological accumulation. We should sublate the traditional morality, select the essence from the rough, discard the false and preserve the true, and give full play to its practical guiding significance and value. National spirit is the concentrated expression of the Chinese nation's fine moral tradition and the spirit of the times. National spirit education itself contains the positive sublation of traditional morality and is a process of inheritance and re-innovation of fine moral tradition. Therefore, only by strengthening the education of national spirit can we guide college students to consciously inherit the fine moral traditions of the Chinese nation and cultivate high-level socialist builders and successors who meet the requirements of the times and have fine moral traditions.

3. Strengthen the practical teaching of moral education and promote the cultivation of college students' good moral behavior habits. The transformation from moral cognition to moral behavior is a process that needs constant guidance and experience in practice. Only in practice can we really consolidate the content of moral cognition, produce strong moral emotional experience, hone moral will, strengthen moral belief, and then develop good moral behavior habits. Colleges and universities should coordinate moral practice education and teaching to promote the cultivation of good moral behavior of college students. First of all, we should strengthen the practical teaching link in the teaching of ideological and political theory courses. Secondly, it is necessary to organize college students' extracurricular moral practice activities, clarify the objectives and tasks of practical activities, enrich the contents and forms of practical activities, and strengthen the assessment and supervision system of practical activities. Thirdly, re-examine and excavate the moral connotation of school rules, highlight the educational function of the system, and cultivate college students' good moral behavior habits by consciously observing school rules.

4. Strengthen the contact inside and outside the school to form a benign interaction between the school and society in the moral education of college students. Moral education for college students is not a simple mathematical reasoning, but a complex social phenomenon. Only by building on a solid social soil and gaining social recognition can we succeed. Therefore, in the process of implementing moral education for college students, we must strengthen the contact with society and form a benign interaction between colleges and society. First, colleges and universities should strengthen communication with surrounding communities, form relationships with these communities, optimize the educational environment around colleges and universities, and extend college students' moral education to the community by organizing them to participate in various public welfare undertakings and service activities in the community. Second, establish the relationship between college students and their professional counterparts, regularly organize college students to visit, study and practice in these industries, gradually cultivate their professional quality, and strengthen professional ethics education in advance. Thirdly, influential people from all walks of life are often invited to give lectures and have discussions with students in order to strengthen the communication between college students and successful people in society. Fourth, colleges and universities should encourage and support university teachers and students to actively participate in the discussion of hot issues of social morality, and guide college students to correctly look at the moral dilemmas encountered in social development and strengthen their moral ideals through targeted solutions.
