Brief introduction of South China Normal University:
1, South China Normal University was founded in 1933, and its predecessor was Guangdong Li Qin University Teachers College. It is a national "2 1 1 engineering" key university, a provincial university, an overall high-level university in Guangdong Province and a national "first-class discipline" university. The school has four campuses: Guangzhou Shipai, Guangzhou University Town, Foshan Nanhai and Shanwei.
2. The school has established cooperative relations with 190 universities and scientific research institutions in 37 countries and regions. The graduation rate and master's admission rate of finance graduates from world-class universities have reached record highs.
3. Faculty: There are 2,577 full-time teachers in the school, including 635 deputy senior teachers and 674 full-time teachers. There are 223 national-level talents (including part-time jobs and projects), 298 provincial-level talents (including part-time jobs and projects), 65,438 academicians (including double-employed and foreigners) and 25 major talent projects (including part-time lectures) of the Ministry of Education.
There are 19 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 9 leading talents in the "Ten Thousand Talents Program", 16 national candidates in the "Thousand Talents Program" and 8 "Four Groups" talents in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China.
4. Educational facilities. The school has two national scientific research platforms, namely, the International Joint Research Center for Green Photoelectricity, the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Electrolyte and Diaphragm Materials and Preparation Technology of High-energy and High-safety Power Lithium-ion Battery, and the Psychological Application Research Center of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education. 105 provincial and ministerial scientific research platforms.
5. Discipline construction. The school has 20 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 1 doctoral degree authorization points, 33 first-level discipline master degree authorization points, 18 master degree authorization points, 85 undergraduate majors, 18 postdoctoral mobile stations, and the discipline layout covers 12 categories except military science.
