I come from Huan Zi. From the professional background, the gis of Wushu survey was born out of surveying and mapping, while Huan Zi, Remote Sensing and Surveying and Mapping all have related research directions of gis. The only regular undergraduate major of gis is Huan Zi, and the students of remote sensing are enrolled according to remote sensing technology (including photogrammetry, remote sensing and geographic information), so is the School of Surveying and Mapping.

In this way, the gis emphases of the three research institutes are different. Surveying and Mapping Institute focuses on gis data collection, data quality and uncertainty, Remote Sensing Institute focuses on interpretation and analysis of remote sensing images, and gis of Resource Institute focuses on visualization, spatial analysis and automatic synthesis.

Generally speaking, you seem to be more familiar with gis courses offered by foreign schools, because gis is just a few things. It is better for girls to study phonetics, cartography or remote sensing image processing. I suggest you consider the State Key Laboratory first, and then consider the resources and environment (either gis or geographic information engineering).
