Tianjin Jinghai includes Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin Medical University and tianjin polytechnic university.

Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1958, formerly known as Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2006, it was renamed Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 20 17, the school entered the ranks of world-class universities and first-class discipline construction universities. In 2020, it will become a university jointly established by Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Ministry of Education and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. In 2022, it became the second round of "double first-class" construction of colleges and universities. The school is the only China International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine approved by the former State Education Commission, and the chairman of the Education Steering Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.

Tianjin Medical College, the predecessor of Tianjin Medical University, was founded in 195 1, which was approved after the founding of New China. Professor Zhu, an endocrinologist and medical educator, was the first principal. June 1994 Tianjin Medical College and Tianjin Second Medical College were established. 1February 1996, 1 1 became the only national key construction institution in Tianjin. 20 17 was selected as the national "world-class discipline" construction institution in September, and became the second round "double-class" construction institution in February 2022.

Tianjin polytechnic university is a full-time general institution of higher learning that is under key construction in Tianjin. This school has a long history. Founded in 19 12, it was renamed tianjin polytechnic university in 2000, was selected as a national "double-class" world-class discipline construction university in 20 17, and was approved by the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau and Tianjin in 20 18. It is one of the earliest universities in China to carry out textile higher education, and has now developed into a university.
