Xiangya Medical College (CSU) of Central South University, founded in 19 14, is the first Sino-foreign cooperative medical college in China. 1925, Sun Yat-sen wrote an admonition for the fifth graduate student of Xiangya. During the May 4th Movement, Mao Zedong once edited New Hunan Weekly here. 1996 entered the national "2 1 1 project" in September, and was built by the people of China, the Ministry of Health and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It is one of the ten subordinate comprehensive medical colleges jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. It is also one of the two colleges that the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) and the International Committee of Medical Education (IIME) are conducting two standard pilot studies in China at the same time.
