The distribution of CET-4 listening scores is as follows:

The total score of CET-4 listening comprehension is 248.5, including three parts, namely, short news, long dialogue and listening chapters.

There are 7 short stories, each of which is 7. 1, which means that the score of this part is 7.1* 7 = 49.7; The long dialogue is 8 small topics, each topic is also 7. 1, and the score is 7.1* 8 = 56.8; The listening part contains 10 questions, and the score of each question is 14.2 and14.2 *10 =142.

English listening score accounts for 35% of the total score of Band 4, so it still has a great influence on the score.

CET-4 is a large-scale standardized test sponsored by the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education, and implemented by China People's Education Examinations Institute and the Ministry of Education (formerly the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education). This is a national teaching examination.

Its purpose is to promote college English teaching in China, measure college students' English ability objectively and accurately, and provide services for improving the teaching quality of college English courses in China.

The main target of the examination is college students, undergraduates or graduate students who have completed CET-4 according to the educational syllabus. Standardized grades 4 and 6 were prepared at the end of 1986 and formally implemented at 1987.

The Ministry of Education entrusts the National College English Band 4 and Band 6 Examination Committee (1993 named "College English Band 4 and Band 6 Standardized Examination Design Group") to design, organize, manage and implement the College English Band 4 and Band 6 Examination.
