Chengdu University of Technology (Engineering &; The Institute of Technology of Chengdu University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Licheng Project"), located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is a full-time engineering college founded in 2000 by Southwest Institute of Physics of China Nuclear Industry and Chengdu University of Technology, the largest controlled nuclear fusion experimental base in Asia. It is the only university directly affiliated to China's nuclear industry and the first independent college approved by the Ministry of Education.
