Northwestern Polytechnical University (hereinafter referred to as Xigong University), located in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a multi-disciplinary, research-oriented and open university featuring talent training and scientific research in the fields of aviation, aerospace and navigation. It is a national "double first-class" construction university, which belongs to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. School 1960 was identified as a national key university by the State Council, and was listed as a national key construction university by the State Council during the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan. 1995 The first batch entered "21/project" and 200 1 entered "985 project".
There are more than 37,000 students and 4,300 faculty members, covering an area of 365,438+10,000 square meters. There are 27 colleges, including the School of Aviation, Aerospace, Navigation and International Education, the School of Educational Experiment, and the School of Engineering of Queen Mary University in London, Northwestern Polytechnical University. Seven disciplines, including materials science, engineering, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth science and mathematics, entered the top of ESI international discipline ranking 1‰, among which materials science and engineering entered the top 1‰.
