Second, choose the object
All students of Ocean University (including undergraduates, master students, doctoral students and international students in China)
Third, the selection method
This selection activity will be divided into four stages, mainly in the form of class group recommendation and student organization recommendation.
1. declaration stage: the league branch and student organizations widely publicize the selection activities and encourage students to actively declare. League branches and student organizations independently select and fully prepare the recommended list.
2. Initial evaluation stage: the initial evaluation jury of the college conducts initial evaluation on all students who submit applications, and selects about 25 students to enter the re-evaluation stage according to the registration situation.
3. Re-evaluation stage: publicize the students who have entered the re-evaluation stage and conduct online voting on the WeChat public platform of Ocean University. The re-evaluation jury will make a comprehensive evaluation with reference to the results of WeChat voting, and produce 15 official candidates to participate in the final evaluation.
4. Final evaluation stage: 15 Candidates participate in public debate as required. The final judging committee composed of college leaders, teachers and outstanding student representatives finally produced 10 "Top Ten College Students" of Ocean University, including 1 international students.
Four. Allocation of places recommended by candidates
1. League branches of undergraduate and graduate students under the jurisdiction of Oceanographic Institute: each league branch can select at most 1 students to participate in the selection;
2. Ocean University Student Organization: Youth League Committee, Student Union, Graduate Association, Association of Associations and Student Media Center can recommend 1-2 students to participate in the selection. (International students in China can recommend 1-2 students to participate in the re-evaluation. )
Verb selection criteria (abbreviation of verb)
(1) basic conditions
1. Abide by national laws and social ethics, and abide by school rules and regulations in an exemplary manner without any form of disciplinary action;
2. Study hard, think hard and get excellent grades;
3. Have good moral quality, care about the collective, enthusiastically participate in student activities, and actively serve students.
(2) Substitution conditions (at least one of the following conditions must be met)
1, as a student cadre at all levels, performed well and made great contributions to the development of the organization;
2. Get good grades in professional study, academic research or various competitions;
3. Outstanding performance in social practice, voluntary service or innovation and entrepreneurship activities;
4. Have unique expertise in sports and art, and strive for honor for schools and colleges.
Specific requirements and time arrangement of intransitive verbs
1. Application: Youth League branches and student organizations are invited to recommend candidates, and the application form (attachment 1) and a photo (jpg format, specification 900*600, good definition) reflecting the students' good mental outlook should be sent to1October 30th 165438+.
2. Preliminary evaluation: The jury made a preliminary evaluation of all the students who submitted their applications, and selected about 25 students to enter the re-evaluation stage according to the registration situation.
3. Re-evaluation: Online publicity and voting will be conducted on the WeChat public platform of Ocean College of Zhejiang University, and the re-evaluation jury will refer to the voting results and produce 15 final evaluation candidates.
4. Final evaluation preparation: 15 Candidates who enter the final evaluation prepare personal statements such as ppt.
5. Final evaluation defense: At the on-site final evaluation defense meeting, 10 "Top Ten College Students" of Ocean University were selected, and were commended and awarded prizes.
