Nottingham Trent University has several types of dorms. I will introduce their advantages and disadvantages here.
Sanyi square
Advantages: the new building is located in the city center, with good geographical location, credit card access, elevator and bathroom in the room.
Disadvantages: check-in is late, so it is best to make a reservation through the school. The bathroom is very small, just like the economy class of an airplane.
Jier steet
Advantages: the new building is strictly managed, and the room has a personal bathroom and a shared kitchen. It is the only student dormitory cleaned by a special person.
Disadvantages: there is no elevator, moving things is extremely tiring, the toilet is old-fashioned, the shower head is not detachable, the toilet has no exhaust fan, the internet speed is not fast, some doors are loose seriously, and the rent is expensive.
greenhouse
Advantages: the new building, with elevator, is located in the city center, and the Chinese supermarket is downstairs, which is not particularly safe. Most of the dormitories are from China. Add a key to swipe in and out, which is very cost-effective and affordable.
Disadvantages: the network speed is extremely unstable, and the sound insulation of public kitchens and toilets is said to be very poor.
liberty square
Advantages: the old building is relatively safe, there is a bus stop at the door, and the key is added when entering and leaving the card. The network speed is not slow, and the parking price at the door is moderate.
Disadvantages: sharing the bathroom and kitchen, the bed is not strong, and going home is through the ancestral grave.
