Tsinghua High School is a full-time public complete middle school, a key middle school in Beijing and a model ordinary high school in Beijing, which is headed by Haidian District Education Committee.

The school was founded in 19 15, formerly known as Chengzhi School. 1952, the middle school department of Chengzhi School merged with the middle school department of yenching university Affiliated High School and was renamed as "Tsinghua University Affiliated High School"; 1958, "Tsinghua University Workers and Peasants Accelerated Middle School" was merged into the High School Attached to Tsinghua University; 1960, Tsinghua High School was expanded into Tsinghua High School.
