How was the interview at Oxford University?
The interview in Oxford University is conducted through a multi-link screening process, which can be basically divided into the following three stages:

1. Preliminary screening: This stage is usually a preliminary screening of a large number of applicants. The screening criteria include the applicant's academic qualifications and achievements, English proficiency, and whether the application materials submitted by the applicant have a specific understanding and research interest in the applied subject.

2. Interview: After preliminary screening, the school will arrange an interview session. The school will assign interviewers according to the applicant's academic interests, and one interviewer will be responsible for the whole interview process. The interview usually lasts about 20 minutes. During the interview, the interviewer will ask the applicant some questions about the applied subject to test the applicant's academic ability, attitude towards problems and thinking ability. Generally, there are two rounds of interviews, and the second round will be more in-depth, so the examination room for the second round will be more advanced.

3. Comprehensive evaluation: After the interview, the school will evaluate the interview performance of each applicant, including the applicant's academic ability, personality characteristics, potential, interest and adaptability.

In addition, the applicant's honorary certificate and thesis works will also be listed as one of the evaluation conditions by the school. Before the formal invitation for an interview, most disciplines also require applicants to submit homework for the thinking and writing ability test. This test will be conducted online before the interview. Usually, applicants are required to read a passage of literature or a book and write a short essay based on it to test their theoretical knowledge, writing skills and deep thinking ability. In addition, one week before the interview, the school may also conduct oral German communication test for the applicant to examine the applicant's oral expression and grammar level.
