As the first student of Baiyun Campus, when I first came, there were only a few desolate buildings in Baiyun Campus. Behind the desolation and remoteness is the thirst for knowledge and the motivation to make progress. In the vast Baiyun campus, behind the overgrowth of weeds is the lack of material and spiritual resources. Not even a library. We are eager for the baptism and edification of knowledge. In the days without internet and books, we can only spend time in class by reading textbooks. The colorful campus life we expect is too far away. On the road of learning, we seem to be isolated from the world in the white clouds and at a loss. Behind the inner peace is an empty shell soul.
20XX 165438+ 10, when the academic lecture entered Baiyun, countless students of grade 12, like me, picked up their chairs in the dormitory and went to the third floor of the unfinished canteen to listen to the lecture. I still remember that in order to get a good seat, I stood in line two hours before the lecture and took notes carefully with my notebook. Students who have nowhere to sit sit sit on the floor just to gain knowledge. The teacher is speaking above, and the students are listening below. The afternoon sun shines into the dining room and on the students' backs. What rings in the canteen is the voice of the teacher talking and the voice of the students taking notes. The eyes staring at the speaker sparkled with the satisfaction of seeking knowledge, and the teacher spoke enthusiastically. The time of one and a half hours was extended to two hours, and the sweat had soaked his shirt. After a feast of knowledge, everyone is still wanting more, which reminds me of the national The National SouthWest Associated University during the Anti-Japanese War. Despite moving to Yunnan and entering the wasteland, all the students and teachers are full of curiosity and rigorous academic attitude. Growing white clouds also have difficult times. Even if it is desolate and lonely, what remains unchanged is the spiritual quality of seeking knowledge, while the lectures on humanities and science, like a clear spring, bring a touch of sweetness, which is the link of spiritual continuity, bring hope to a freshman on the way to study, enrich our knowledge and make Baiyun Campus more and more humanistic.
What impressed me most was 12 lectures given by many people in An Wei? Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment? . Mr. Zhou Weizhong, Professor of College of Liberal Arts, Master Supervisor. He has successively obtained bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees from Southwest Normal University, Northeast Normal University and Zhejiang University. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of western literature and literary theory for a long time, focusing on Russian literature and literary theory, and focusing on Bakhtin's poetics in recent years. He has successively offered undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as foreign literature, western literary theory, introduction to western culture, Russian literature monographic study, Dostoevsky study and Bakhtin poetics study. He has made some achievements in western literature, western poetics, western philosophy and cultural studies, especially in Bakhtin's poetics. Teacher Zhou vividly discussed the characters in Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment and the philosophical thoughts expressed in the novel, which caused me to think deeply. So, I began to like Russian literature and philosophy, and began to understand and think about philosophy. Although I am not a student of the College of Literature, I can say that after listening to Mr. Zhou's lecture, I began to read a lot of books about Russian literature and got to know the Russian nation to some extent. It can be said that reading novels has become a second interest outside professional courses. Reading literary works also makes me think about life, and also makes my impetuous heart settle down.
Academic lectures have been held in Baiyun for four years, with 10 lectures in the past four years. Although the quality of lectures is different, the range of subjects involved is also very wide, which greatly broadens the knowledge of students. There are finance, science and technology, and humanities. There is also a canteen in the lecture venue and a classroom in the auditorium. It has become more and more formal and witnessed the growth of Baiyun Campus. In today's materialistic era, it is very valuable to offer lectures in universities. Behind the academic lectures is the embodiment of the spirit of freedom and independent thought in universities. The holding of academic lectures is inseparable from the hard work of teachers, and more importantly, it is the continuation of college students' spirit of seeking knowledge and the blending and collision of liberal ideas in universities. Four years of academic lectures is very difficult for a graduating student. After leaving the society, he couldn't hear such diverse voices, and his impetuous heart couldn't return to this pure land of learning first, so he couldn't help sighing. In this school where the community occupies half the sky, campus life is immersed in entertainment and social activities, and academic lectures are undoubtedly a reassuring pure land. Of course, we can also see that while the quality of lectures is improving, some students go to lectures with the purpose of stamping credits, and the lectures are out of order. There is also the situation that it is hard to get a ticket for some high-quality lectures. The requirement of stamping chicken ribs is not as real as the spontaneous interest of students. The lecture system of the school has been gradually polluted by the supremacy of credits. Individual students' attitude is lax, there is no questioning session in the lecture setting, and students' communication is insufficient, which inevitably makes people feel sorry for a high-quality lecture.
Four years of lectures have benefited a lot. I hope the lecture will be better and better. Don't stamp for the sake of stamping, don't let the credit system pollute this blessed land, let students listen carefully and cherish it during the four-year lecture.
Experience of humanities lecture
The four-year life from entering the university to now is coming to an end. I have listened to many lectures here, and now I will talk about my own experience in the humanities and science lectures I have listened to.
Science and humanities have always been two different and interrelated fields, representing the achievements of human exploration and study of nature, and also representing two different ways of thinking and mental state of human beings. Humanistic spirit is the universal self-care of human beings, which is manifested in the maintenance, pursuit and concern of human dignity, value and destiny, the great attention to various spiritual and cultural phenomena left over by human beings, and the affirmation and shaping of the ideal personality of all-round development. Humanistic spirit can also be said to be a subjective spirit. Its core is to regard people as the standard of judging everything and as the starting point and destination of all actions. Scientific spirit is the general name of * * * consistent beliefs, value standards and behavior norms formed by people in long-term scientific practice activities. Scientific spirit refers to the basic mental state and mode of thinking that is determined by the nature of science and runs through scientific activities. It is an idea or thought embodied in scientific knowledge. Seeking truth from facts is the core of scientific spirit; Pioneering and enterprising is the vitality of scientific spirit. The scientific spirit requires us to treat and evaluate problems with a scientific attitude, rather than using unscientific or pseudoscientific means to explain and treat problems.
Humanistic spirit can also be said to be artistic spirit, that is, poetic spirit. This spirit is characterized by imagination. Instead of truly reflecting reality, we should carry out creative consciousness activities on the basis of being divorced from reality. Humanistic spirit pursues the diversified development of human beings and advocates that everyone should have personality, which often develops into individualism in this sense. Pluralism adheres to the diversity of values and meanings and opposes the requirements of unity and generalization. Humanistic spirit tends to pursue eternal value. Humanistic spirit tends to transcend the status quo, regardless of the current gains and losses, especially the gains and losses of material interests, which is irrational. Scientific spirit is an experiential spirit, which belongs to the category of rational thinking. The essence of rationality is to conform to logic and law, that is, to have controllability, that is, to carry out activities step by step, which is most strictly reflected in science. Science must be systematic, must have strict logical self-consistency, must be accurate, and so on, which are the embodiment of rational characteristics.
In the process of higher education, we should pay attention to cultivating students' attitude towards science, deepen the cultivation of scientific spirit in combination with humanistic education, strive to cultivate students to apply what they have learned, and create valuable new concepts, systems and methods in future work. Establishing students' scientific outlook is the purpose of higher education.
Textbooks are the most effective learning tools in modern education and an organized knowledge system. As long as you accept its indoctrination step by step from beginning to end, you can master the subject comprehensively and completely. However, while grasping the knowledge system assembled by ancestors' wisdom, people often forget its negative side: because of omitting the long development process of this subject, different ideas, different expressions, imperfections or mistakes in the endless exploration process have been removed, leaving the most correct knowledge in this field so far, but its life has solidified. People use textbooks to master knowledge, cope with exams and solve specific problems, but people are also imprisoned by textbooks. It is difficult to find all its defects and get out of its thinking framework forever. Professionals are willing to repeat limited scientific facts, but lack imaginative bold assumptions and strong arguments, resulting in no creative scientific pursuit. Some China students went to the United States and found that they had more knowledge than their peers there, just because of the learning mode instilled in textbooks. However, they lack the experience of independent thinking, countless trial and error games and personalized impromptu exploration, and their ability to work independently and explore innovation is far less than others.
Therefore, our teachers should cultivate students to establish a correct view of science when conducting education. It is necessary to cultivate students to oppose knowledge superstition, science worship, scientism and textbook doctrine, to establish the spirit of seeking knowledge for the sake of seeking knowledge and being scientific for the sake of science, and to cultivate students' attitude of questioning, exploring and imagining science, instead of worshipping science as a superstition that abides by objective laws. To overcome the disadvantages of textbook education, on the one hand, we should start with the curriculum itself and adapt the curriculum to the needs of society; Talk more and think more in class; More subject history, more latest progress in frontier fields, and more problems, including unresolved problems. On the other hand, we should start from outside the course. School is not only a place for classes, but also a garden for self-study, research, dialogue, communication, games and practice.
Education is not only the inheritance, diffusion and promotion of culture, but also the creation and regeneration of culture. Scientific spirit is based on specific philosophy and belief, and depends on extensive literature and artistic accomplishment. Professional research is not the whole content of scientific exploration. The source of scientific creativity lies in extensive cultural literacy, mainly humanistic literacy, rather than pure scientific knowledge itself. Any discipline is the crystallization of human wisdom and the ladder to freedom. All thoughts are consistent and connected in their final state. Every major development of science is related to the nourishment of non-science. Philosophy constitutes the internal ideological cornerstone of various cultural forms and disciplines.
In a word, it is a victory to advocate the combination of scientific spirit and humanistic spirit in higher education? Scientific superstition? Effective way is the inevitable choice to cultivate students' innovative spirit. As the main body of higher education, teachers should pay more attention to the education of scientific spirit and humanistic spirit, and must make it clear that science and art are inseparable, just like two sides of the same coin. Their * * * is based on human creativity, and their goal is the universality of truth. Therefore, teachers are required to pay attention to the cultivation of scientific quality and psychological quality in the teaching process, and advocate the integration of scientific spirit, moral quality and humanistic spirit in the teaching process.
I recommend it carefully.
