The College consists of Law Department and Intellectual Property Department, Intellectual Property and Rule of Law Research Center, Hong Kong and Macao Basic Law Research Center, Network and E-commerce Law Research Office, Legal Theory and other 10 research institutions. The Research Center of Intellectual Property and Rule of Law is a key research base of humanities and social sciences in universities in Guangdong Province. There are 58 faculty members and 47 full-time teachers, including professors 12 and 34 teachers with doctoral degrees. It has national intellectual property leading talents, outstanding talents of the Ministry of Education in the new century, the provincial-level training goal of "1000" in Guangdong Province, and the provincial-level teaching master of Guangdong Province 1 person. Based on the undergraduate education of law and intellectual property, the college has formed a high-level compound legal talent training system, which focuses on the postgraduate training of science degree and JM degree in the first-level discipline of master of law, and the doctoral enrollment direction of international law and international relations, intellectual property management, and the doctoral degree of legal economics jointly established with the School of Economics and the School of Industrial Economics.
