The news that the institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Public Security have stopped enrolling undergraduates has come to a conclusion-the institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Public Security still enroll undergraduates this year.

Earlier, the news that universities affiliated to the Ministry of Public Security, such as the People's Public Security University of China, will stop enrolling undergraduates this year has aroused widespread concern. This statement has now been denied, and relevant universities are still recruiting ordinary college entrance examination students of that year.

According to the introduction of People's Public Security University of China, nine majors (including double degrees) of the school plan to recruit 1.600 students nationwide this year, adding a foreign-related police major. According to the person in charge of the Admissions Office, the enrollment majors of this school this year include public security, investigation, public security management, traffic management engineering, safety prevention engineering, criminal science and technology, public security information science, criminology, and foreign-related policing. Last year, foreign-related police recruited students in a professional direction, and this year, they recruited students nationwide in a professional way.

China Criminal Police College also continued to recruit undergraduates in 2008, and the enrollment brochure will be published after the middle and late March.
