Eric gordon's Early Experience
High school period

In 2003, eric gordon entered North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. In his senior year, Gordon averaged 29 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists, shooting 57.0% from the field and 46.2% from three points. He led North China High School to the Indiana 4A finals, but the team lost to the East Chicago Center team led by Itwin Moore and Angel Garcia.

In 2007, Gordon was nominated as "Mr. Basketball" in Indiana, selected for the All-Star Team of McDonald's National High School, and won the Gatorade Player of the Year Award in 2007.

Gordon also fought alongside greg oden in the American Amateur Sports Federation (AAU) in Indiana.

University period

Eric gordon entered Indiana University in 2007.

In his freshman season, Gordon averaged 20.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game and shot 33.7% from three points, ranking first in the scoring list of the top ten divisions. In the first 18 games, Gordon helped the Indiana University mountaineering team get a 17 win 1 negative start. However, by the end of the season, his shooting percentage dropped significantly. After Indiana University defeated Illinois University on February 7, 2008, his three-point shooting percentage was only 18.6%(70 shots 13), while in the first round of the 2008 NCAA championship, he only made three shots 15. Gordon took part in the competition with a wrist injury at the end of the season.

On March 10, 2008, Gordon was selected as the rookie of the year in the Top Ten League, and together with teammate DJ- White, he entered the first lineup of the Top Ten Division selected by coaches and media, and was also selected as the third lineup in the United States.

On April 8th, 2008, eric gordon officially announced his participation in the 2008 NBA Draft.
