China Communication University is the first batch of "double first-class" universities directly under the Ministry of Education, with "2 1 1 engineering" as the key university and "985 Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" as the key university. The school was founded in 1954, and was renamed China Communication University by Beijing Broadcasting Institute in August 2004.
The school is located on the bank of the ancient canal in Beijing, between the functional core area of the capital and the Beijing sub-center, with convenient transportation and obvious location advantages. The campus has a beautiful environment, covering an area of 463,700 square meters and a total construction area of 638,800 square meters.
