Zheng Guo was born in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province on February 1960. /kloc-0 received a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine from Shanxi Medical University in July, 1983, and199/kloc-0 received a doctor's degree in anesthesiology from the University of Leeds in February, 1983. 1983, successively served as deputy director, director and vice president of anesthesiology department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University;/kloc-0 served as vice president of Shanxi Medical University from July, 1998 to September, 2000;/kloc-0 served as president of Shanxi Medical University in June. Vice President, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanxi Medical Association. He has published more than 30 papers and 2 monographs in the fields of neuroscience, pain and Br. Anesthesiology, China Anesthesiology and other academic journals. He was awarded the title of "Outstanding Returned Overseas Students in Shanxi Province". As a young and middle-aged academic leader in Shanxi Province, he has undertaken many projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the Science and Technology Research Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the Scientific Research Fund of the Ministry of Health.
