In which campus do the freshmen of Geology Department of Northwest University live?
I am a student of Geology Department of Northwest University. All the students in the Geology Department of Northwest University, including undergraduates and postgraduates, live in Taibai Campus, which is the headquarters of Northwest University and is usually called North Campus. All specialized courses in the Department of Geology are taught in a special classroom on the third floor of the Department Building. The environment is relatively good, with air conditioning and projector. Practice specimens of related courses are displayed around the classroom. The geology department dare not say that it is the richest, but it has strong scientific research strength. Undergraduate students include the National Geological Teaching Demonstration Center, the National Geological Talent Training Base and the State Key Laboratory. There are 2 academicians, several double-hired academicians and 2 others. The research funds are not given by the school, but by the teachers of the Department of Geology through the national vertical projects and the horizontal projects of various units. It accounts for a large proportion of the research funds supported by the school.
