Teacher Yan, director of Shandong Admissions Office of Tongji University and deputy secretary of the School of Civil Engineering, introduced the enrollment situation this year. Tongji enrolled 2 1 freshmen in Qingdao this year, accounting for more than19 of the province. Teacher Yan also introduced the relationship between civil engineering and Qingdao, the world-leading civil engineering discipline construction, the teaching reform plan, and the idea of cultivating social pillars and professional elites in the school.
Mr. Zou, Deputy Secretary of Jiaotong University, introduced the vision of his alma mater, the situation of building a world-class university with China characteristics, the feelings of "Tongji World" and the mission and responsibility of Tongji people, hoping to make greater efforts to give full play to Tongji's strength, show its elegance and help the world.
Teacher Wang Songtao, Director of Practice Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship College of Tongji University, combined with the theme of "innovation and entrepreneurship" and the construction of entrepreneurship college, introduced the important progress made by the school in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship for MIT. Teacher Wang also explained the profound connotation of the school motto of "rigor, truth-seeking, unity and innovation" for alumni in combination with his own experience and sentiment in studying and working in Tongji.
Yang, a senior majoring in architectural planning at 1956, shared interesting things during his study in Tongji, encouraging new alumni to combine their hobbies with their majors and work happily. Alumni Lin, a professor at Shandong University of Science and Technology, introduced the key points and matters needing attention for freshmen and graduates to do a good job in career planning and employment planning, and encouraged new alumni to broaden their knowledge, constantly improve their own quality and become compound talents urgently needed by society. Ji Hechun, consultant of Qingdao Alumni Association, introduced the policy, environment and progress of innovation and entrepreneurship. Qingdao Alumni Association will build a service platform for alumni's innovation and entrepreneurship, relying on the superior resources of their alma mater's education and achievements and the strength of Qingdao alumni from all walks of life. TRIZ's innovative methods are introduced to alumni to improve their ability to find and solve problems.
